Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was featured in many commercials as just a child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of that year. In Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows after her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, in 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4 of the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge internet following.
